Hola technopolists,
In less than a year and a half, we’ve grown our community to thousands of readers from the top brands in LatAm and beyond.
But we’re just getting started.
It’s time to take Technopoly to the next level: a paid subscription tier.
Why go paid?
Technopoly’s short-and-sharp roundup format is working. Our community has grown 25% month-over-month since launch, and brevity is often the thing that readers rave about most.
But while it’s important to know what the big trends are, it’s even more crucial to understand how and why they’ve come about.
The paid tier enables me to take you from what to why, investing the time to tell deeper stories with greater insight.
My goal is to make Technopoly the best (and only) newsletter on LatAm tech and VC that you need to read. My promise is to bring the same no-nonsense approach that you’ve come to trust.
What does paid get me?
Whether you’re a founder, VC, or just a humble socialite, the paid tier will give you an edge — in the boardroom, at All Hands, or even at happy hour.
Starting in September, paid subscribers will receive the normal weekly edition of Technopoly, plus:
Access to the new paywalled layers of the weekly newsletter
An exclusive monthly deep-dive (a completely new format!)
Curated subscriber-only events, Q&A sessions, and networking opportunities
The paid tier will cost $20/month or $200/year (20% savings), and here’s a comparison of the new tiers:
As a limited-time offer for existing readers, I’m offering a 50% discount through the end of August as thanks for being early supporters.

Not ready for paid?
That’s cool, too. There will still be a free tier that includes weekly editions of What’s Hot/What’s Not so you can keep tabs on the week’s biggest developments. You don’t need to do anything to keep reading for free.
If you’re not yet convinced by the paid tier, here’s what some prominent readers have said about Technopoly:
About me
I’ve spent my career analysing, building, and transforming elite businesses.
I started out as a management consultant at Bain & Company. During my time, I covered corporate strategy with Fortune 500 companies, conducted due diligence on $60bn+ of private equity deals for the world’s leading funds, and earned a fast-track promotion to the MBA-level role at 23 years old.
From there, I worked as a chief of staff in early-stage startups in London, a swiss army knife supporting CEOs with everything from investor relations to internal operations. Combined, these businesses have raised $150mn+ from top investors such as Balderton, Northzone, GFC, and Chris Anderson (founder of TED).
Born in the US to a family of Portuguese immigrants and entrepreneurs, I empathise with the gritty, bright-eyed optimism of Latin America and its tech scene.
Technopoly is the vehicle I use to share insights at scale, while my consulting arm works directly with early-stage ventures in the UK, US, and LatAm to build bespoke programmes that unlock rapid growth.
